There's a phrase that has fired up evangelists for decades: plunder hell and populate heaven. It was made famous by the evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, and it sounds bold — maybe even a little too bold.
It isn't. It's straight out of the mouth of Jesus.
Quotations are from the ESV.
Is "plunder hell" actually biblical?
"Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house." — Matthew 12:29
Jesus said that about His own ministry. He came to bind the strong man and take back what was stolen — people. Paul describes what that looks like from the inside: God "has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son" (Colossians 1:13).
And Jesus put His church on offense, not defense: "On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18). Gates don't attack. Gates hold. The picture is a church that advances — and gates that can't stop it.
The other half is just as biblical. John saw where the story ends: "a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb" (Revelation 7:9). Heaven is going to be full. And "there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance" (Luke 15:7).
Plunder hell. Populate heaven. It's the Great Commission in five words.
The story behind SIX33 Outpost
SIX33 Outpost exists to fund this mission — and the mission has faces and names. Here's the story Daniel and Katie Ziedins tell on KD-Ziedins.com:
- 2014 — Love on Hamilton is born. Weekly street evangelism and practical care for Hamilton's homeless community, sharing the gospel with everyone they meet. (Love on Hamilton)
- The movement multiplies. What began as a small outreach grew into 50+ people gathering weekly to evangelise in Hamilton — and Love on The World was born to take it to more cities.
- 2022 — Overflow. A Sunday evening service where, in their words, the Holy Spirit was given full permission to move.
- Partnering with e3 Canada. Joining e3 Canada and I Am Second to equip believers to evangelise and establish multiplying, life-changing churches.
- Jesus Festival. A free, family-friendly weekend of worship and gospel hope in Hamilton — most recently September 4–5, 2026 at Gage Park. (Plan your festival weekend)
They describe salvations, baptisms, healings and broken addictions as regular testimonies on the streets — and they're quick to add the line that's at the heart of everything they do: all for God's glory. You can read the long version in twelve years on the streets.
The vision now: 100 outreach groups
The latest mission is the biggest yet: help establish 100 multiplying outreach groups around the world — ordinary believers, equipped and sent to bring the gospel and practical love into their own communities. That's the work of Evangelize.World.
Not 100 events. 100 groups that keep going, and multiply.
That's what "populate heaven" looks like on a Tuesday night: a handful of believers on a street corner, a hospital ward, a campus, a park — praying for people by name and telling them about Jesus.
Why partners matter as much as goers
"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?" — Romans 10:14–15
Every person who hears the gospel on a street corner in Hamilton heard it because someone went — and someone else sent them. Scripture never treats the senders as second-class:
- "For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike." — 1 Samuel 30:24. David's rule: the ones who guard the supplies share the reward with the ones on the front line.
- "Your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now." — Philippians 1:5. Paul thanked the Philippians for being partners, not spectators.
- "I seek the fruit that increases to your credit." — Philippians 4:17. A partner's gift becomes their own fruit.
- "We ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth." — 3 John 1:8.
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth" (1 Corinthians 3:6). Some plant, some water, some send — and God does what only God can do.
Four ways to join the mission
1. Pray
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37–38). Start with the free evangelism prayer guide — pray for open hearts, bold believers, transformed cities, and a fresh move of God across Canada.
2. Partner financially
Daniel and Katie serve in partnership with e3 Canada. You can give once or monthly on their partner page: partner with Daniel & Katie through e3 Canada. Monthly partners are what turn one-off outreaches into teams that last.
3. Go
Join an outreach near you through Love on The World, or start your own with this guide to starting an outreach team. Not sure where to begin? Map the people already in your life with Oikos Map and start there — here's why that works.
4. Equip your church
Most Christians want to share their faith and don't know how. Daniel and Katie train churches to make evangelism a normal, everyday lifestyle — equip, activate, multiply. See evangelism training for your church.
Where SIX33 Outpost fits
SIX33 Outpost was built to fund Kingdom work from day one — the outreaches, festivals and free tools of the Kingdom Network. When the Outpost opens, every piece of gear is a banner and a contribution. Until then, the most valuable thing you can do isn't buy anything. It's pray, give, and go.
"Here I am! Send me." — Isaiah 6:8
